3 Fundamental Ways PX3 AMP is Changing the Game
1. AMP FORMAT | Cross-Ice vs. Full-Ice
The facts are hard to ignore; kids enjoy the game more, touch the puck the more, shoot more, pass more, have to react faster, and end up developing much faster than playing on a full ice surface.
Based on these fundamental small area development principals, we designed the AMP Cross-Ice Program to be even more progressive than the half ice model, with smaller surfaces, smaller rosters (maximum of 9 players) and using a 3vs3 format instead of 5on5 to further accelerate player engagement and involvement.
PX3 AMP program is a completely innovative and new approach to accelerated motor skill development and player safety.
2. AMP DEVELOPMENT |
Multi-Sport vs. Single-Sport
The PX3 AMP program offers multisport training each week, exposing kids to sports like wrestling, running, soccer, basketball, baseball, rugby, handball, and ultimate frisbee. This diversification helps a child’s body develop multiple motor skills that crossover between sports and make them better overall athletes regardless of the sport they choose to play.
We believe that only once the mental, physical, and social aspects of a child are fully developed should sport specialization be considered. Proper rest and exposure to different sports throughout the year is proven to build stronger, healthier, and safer athletes.
Multi-sport training is a proven, intelligent and experienced way to build strong, healthy and happy athletes.
MULTI-SPORT = BETTER ATHLETES
In the 2017 NFL draft, 94% of the players drafted in the first round were multi-sport athletes.
